DVTI: Dedicated to Next-Generation Coating Technology

Directed Vapor Technologies International, established in 2000, was created with a single objective: to realize the potential of directed vapor deposition to usher in a new generation of coatings and coating applications.  As the sole worldwide licensee of a portfolio of DVD patents, DVTI is an excellent position to accomplish this goal.  It is headquartered in Charlottesville, Virginia, where it has ready access to two DVD vapor deposition systems located on the campus of the University of Virginia.

DVTI is led by CEO Harry A. Burns. He brings the experience of a retired CEO of $500M international manufacturing company with 30 years senior executive management experience. DVTI is also fortunate to have as a part of its management a number of the researchers who have been instrumental in perfecting directed vapor deposition technology, including Prof. Haydn Wadley, Chief Scientific Officer, and Dr. Derek Hass, Director of Research and Development.
